Mission

The mission of VocRehab Vermont is to help Vermonters with disabilities prepare for, obtain, and maintain meaningful employment and to help employers recruit, train, and retain employees with disabilities.

Vision

The customer is the first priority for VocRehab Vermont staff and community partners.
All VocRehab Vermont customers have the opportunity to pursue a career track that leads to increased earnings.

VABIR

VocRehab Vermont works in close partnership with the Vermont Association of Business and Industry Rehabilitation (VABIR).

VocRehab Highlights

 
More than 40% of Vermonters with disabilities are working full or part-time - this is higher than the national average.
VocRehab's job placement rate has experienced a 142% increase in the past 12 years. In 2002, VocRehab helped close to 1,222 people successfully become employed.
Vermont taxpayers will be paid back for their investment in VR's successful employment outcomes in just over two years. VR's clients have experienced a 75% increase in earnings of the past 5 years. The benefit to Vermont taxpayers are a reduced dependence on public assistance, increased earnings spent in Vermont, and increased tax revenues.
