CERTIFICATES

CSC - The ability to interpret/ transliterate both between American Sign Language and spoken or written English and between a sign code for English and spoken or written English.

CI/CT
Indicates competence in interpretation between American Sign Language and spoken English.

SC:L
Speciality Certificate: Legal Interpreting

IC/TC
The ability to interpret between American Sign Language and spoken or written English.

TC
The ability to transliterate between a sign code for English and spoken or written English.

NAD/Level IV (Advanced)
Excellent voice-to-sign skills and above average sign-to-voice skills, demonstrates interpreting skill necessary for just about all situations.

NIC - General, Advanced, and Master levels of Certification include general knowledge of the field of interpreting, ethical decision making, interpreting and transliterating skills.
