Interpreter Referrals:

  • VANCRO Integrated Interpreter Services

    American Sign Language Interpreter Services for all state agencies are provided under contract by VANCRO IIS. To procure an interpreter you can contact VANCRO directly. Before requesting an interpreter for the first time, read our Helpful Hints for Hiring Interpreters. Vancro ASL interpreting services are also available to the public.

  • Vermont Telecommunications Relay Service - Vermont Relay provides several different relay service options including TTY, CapTel (captioned telephone), Hearing/Voice Carry Over, and TeleBraille as well as Relay Conference Captioning (RCC) at no cost to those who live and work in the state of Vermont.  

  • White Coat Captioning – White Coat Captioning is a premiere live captioning company that provides remote and onsite captioning for conferences, classes, and special events. 

Vermont Assistive Technology Program
The Vermont Assistive Technology Program provides creative tools and strategies that help people accomplish tasks at home, school, work, and in the community.

Vermont Center for Independent Living
Advocacy and service for people with disabilities on issues of accessible housing, transportation, attendant care, employment, and more.
