You are eligible for VocRehab services if you're a Vermonter with a disability. Your disability can be physical or mental, visible, such as a condition requiring the use of a wheelchair, or invisible, like bipolar disorder.
You don't necessarily have to be "on disability" to qualify for our services. If you have a physical or mental health challenge that makes it hard to get a job, or to be successful on the job, then it's likely you are eligible. Vermonters who had an IEP (Individualized Education Plan) while in school or have difficulty with math, listening to verbal or written instructions, or have trouble reading or writing, are also likely to be found eligible for our services.
Your counselor may need to contact your medical providers to get more information on your disability. If you have any documentation of your disability, bring it with you to the intake meeting to share with your counselor.
There are NO income requirements to receive our services - VocRehab is open to all Vermonters with a disability.
