Corrections

VocRehab has 12 designated counselors around Vermont who collaborate with the Department of Corrections, Probation and Parole offices, and Restorative Justice Centers.

VocRehab counselors help individuals explore education, training, and employment options.  They also help with resume writing, interview skills, and many other supports needed to get and maintain a job.

Vermonters with a disability who are preparing to reintegrate into their communities, may meet with a VocRehab counselor 1-3 months before release.  The counselor can help individuals begin building a path toward employment and support a successful transition.
